THE MASTERCLASS
Along with creating, teaching is a true passion of Bendis’. He has been teaching at Portland State University for more than thirteen years and now he’s bringing some of those lessons and more to a digital classroom: THE MASTERCLASS. In the class, Brian teams up with graphic novelist and fellow educator Taki Soma to pass on some of the very best and hardest lessons learned! Plus, students should look for special appearances from fellow creators throughout the course. You never know who will stop by for a guest lecture here at JINXWORLD.
Video and audio versions of the lectures will also always be made available in the Masterclass Archive for those who cannot attend the live classes via Zoom.

That’s right! Bendis and artist BILL WALKO have released a CURRENTLY WEB-EXCLUSIVE sequel to the 2000 Eisner-nominated auto-biographical series, Fortune and Glory. Where the original series chronicles Brian’s time breaking into Hollywood, FORTUNE AND GLORY: THE MUSICAL finds him as an established creator when he’s offered the gig of a lifetime(?):
WRITING THE SPIDER-MAN MUSICAL!
Yes, that Spider-Man musical! The infamous Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark. This is a true story! While Bendis’ time with the production was short, it was pretty damn interesting!
This is a brand-new, fully-illustrated, full-length tale with pencils by Walko, colors by WES DZIOBA, lettering by JINXWORLD’S own JOSH REED, and edited by DANIEL CHABON of Dark Horse Comics!
